The Emergency Medicine Department constitutes a basic interface and one of the most important departments in the hospital, as it is the only department that opens its doors to the community around the clock to deal with emergency and critical cases that need immediate intervention, and the department operates on a priority system to determine the seriousness of cases.

Waiting times

The waiting period varies according to the overcrowding in the department as well as the hospital in general. The waiting time depends on the initial medical evaluation in the triage room, and cases are prioritized based on criticality, patients requiring emergency medical intervention, will be attended to first. The situation may seem calm in the waiting room, but doctors and nurses are often busy treating other patients within the department.

The attending physician will inform you of the results and medical decisions of your case as soon as they are obtained.

If you feel that your condition is getting worse while waiting, please report to the medical staff in the department.
